Hiding

I am currently hiding from my daughter and two nieces.  Now I love each of these little people but three is a bad number and they fight all the time, all the time.  We have been doing activities non stop since they arrived on Thursday and now I know why.   No activities means fighting and me drinking.  I did wait till four to start but I have to go pick up crabs in two hours.  I did myself in when I said no electronics. 

Dear diary

Dear dairy,
          We (me, my 5 year and my 11 year old niece)  went to Dutch Wonderland yesterday.  Now you may be asking yourself what the fu*k is Dutch Wonderland?  Dutch Wonderland is a tiny little amusement park that is right in the middle of Lancaster, PA.  If you have little people or timid riders and you don't want to pay 60 to 80 dollars a head to go to a park then this is the place for you.  It is a bit unsettling to ride the swings while watching cows graze.  The little church with the bible in a big glass case also gives me the willies but I can forgive these things.  There are real life Amish people who come here.  People watching at its finest.  I have not seen real life Amish people since my Garrett County days.  

A dog lover (almost)

I got a dog.  Really I thought this was a good idea.  I have a husband, a five year old and a class of five year olds and I thought you know what I need, I need another helpless thing in my life that wants attention.  So I got a dog.  I'm blaming the child she had more all hyped up about getting a dog that I forgot she is not actually going to help me at all at all.  My husband warned me and I hate that he was right so right the rightess he has ever been.  So I got a dog.  Really I got a dog?

Let's try this thing on more time

This is the stage in the summer when I have no idea what else to do so......wait don't I have a blog........hey I do have a blog!!!!  Anyway let's try this blog thing one more time and see if I actually do it!!

Cyper Stalking

One of my favorite pastimes is cyper stalking friends of friends and people who use to be my friends or people that I did not like in grade school. People I did not like in grade school is my lastest favorite genre to stalk. Facebook makes it so easy but I don't think there is anyone left to stalk. That's a depressing thought.

Dora

I'm so sick of Dora the Explorer. I'm trying to get Lily interested in Wonder Pets but they don't compare to Dora. Do little boys like Dora too or just little girls. The no cable has limited our choices.

Lights

Lights around the house keep falling through the ceiling and hanging down my a cable looking thing. I feel like I live in a police interrogation room.

No football

This was the first weekend since this summer I didn't watch football on Sunday. No Ravens and my fantasy football is over so I'm done. This means winter is here and I hate that. I need to live somewhere warmer.

Blog

I'm going to try to make this blog look better. I know it's boring looking and I'm a horrible speller and grammar person for anyone who does not know me. I know it and I'm to lazy to proof read or too drunk so......

Field Trip

Went to the aquarium today with my kids. Almost got left by the bus while trying to find a parent and three kids. It was close. I'm trying to decide what I would have done. I would like to say I would have gone out to lunch or better yet happy hour then taken a cab back to work but I'm sure I just would have taken a cab back straight away.

So back to trying

If you don't want to here about trying to get pregnant go on to another post. I'm back on the trying to get pregnant train. Been trying for a long time. Getting old real fast. Can't plan for vacations or next school year.

Work

The last two years I have had more girls than boys in my class. That has never happened. Tomorrow we go to the aquarium. Field trips are always an adventure. I will let you know how it goes. Then two days of teaching then two professional days. Yeah.

okay for real this time

I'm really going to try to blog everyday or so because looking back on my old posts is fun. Quickly here is what has happened
1. Still work in the city teaching, new school
2. Lily is now 2 1/2
3. Still don't have married friends trying to acquire some through the help of facebook
4. I hate winter

Okay

So a lot has happened so I will just give the highlights
1. Had baby on July 5, 7 weeks early
2. Lily-the baby had the stay in hospital 2 weeks after me
3. That sucked
4. Fall is almost here and that is my favorite doing things time of year.

Spring Break

Me and Ally are going to Atlantic city for spring break. I would be going to Vegas but not pregnant. So we are going to stay for two nights, I have a week and a day off for spring break. I'm so excited. I have 3 weeks until then. I shouldn't have wasted a sick day today but Jason and Shawn were up all night giggling and keeping me up. I didn't have the will to go to school and face those children today. I have a great lesson planned but it will get done tomorrow.
Anyway we are going to Atlantic city and staying at Bally's which looks really nice. Indoor pool and lots of restaurants. I have some money now so I can gamble and Jason won't be there watching me telling me about all the money I'm wasting.

Baltimore city

So teaching in Baltimore city is sooo crazy. I have 20 kids in my class, 15 of them are boys. I had an assistant then I didn't now I have a new assistant who I like almost as much as my first one. She's young and was the K assistant but now she's mine. We went on two field trips this year, 1st one to the pumpkin patch, I didn't have enough parents and had too many kids on my own. The 2nd trip to Port discovery was much better. Parents that came took another child other than their own and had one or two at the most with me.
I still fight with these kids on a daily basis to listen, keep their hands off each other and stay in the room. We are not allowed to go outside for recess which I'm getting ready to ignore now that the weather is nice again. 7 hours is a long time without getting out any energy. We have a rest time, we are not suppose to but............
