Spring Break
Me and Ally are going to Atlantic city for spring break. I would be going to Vegas but not pregnant. So we are going to stay for two nights, I have a week and a day off for spring break. I'm so excited. I have 3 weeks until then. I shouldn't have wasted a sick day today but Jason and Shawn were up all night giggling and keeping me up. I didn't have the will to go to school and face those children today. I have a great lesson planned but it will get done tomorrow.
Anyway we are going to Atlantic city and staying at Bally's which looks really nice. Indoor pool and lots of restaurants. I have some money now so I can gamble and Jason won't be there watching me telling me about all the money I'm wasting.

Baltimore city
So teaching in Baltimore city is sooo crazy. I have 20 kids in my class, 15 of them are boys. I had an assistant then I didn't now I have a new assistant who I like almost as much as my first one. She's young and was the K assistant but now she's mine. We went on two field trips this year, 1st one to the pumpkin patch, I didn't have enough parents and had too many kids on my own. The 2nd trip to Port discovery was much better. Parents that came took another child other than their own and had one or two at the most with me.
I still fight with these kids on a daily basis to listen, keep their hands off each other and stay in the room. We are not allowed to go outside for recess which I'm getting ready to ignore now that the weather is nice again. 7 hours is a long time without getting out any energy. We have a rest time, we are not suppose to but............

Football team
We drafted out fantasy football teams and I think my team sucks. I 'm concerned that I did not do enough research about the players then I was drinking and panicked a little. So I don't think I did a good job. My 1st big game is tomorrow so I need to get ready. I'm going to ocean city this weekend so I need to come back early on Sunday so I can start watching football.

My Job
I have had anywhere from 9-15 kids in my class everyday. The core 8 have stayed the same then someone (always a girl by the way) gets taken to kindergarden and another boy comes in. I now have 3 girls and 12 boys in my class. My new boy is crazy and doesn't listen so I now have 5 children who will not listen most of the time. But at least I have the day down and we have a good schedule going. All I can say is 8 full weeks a year and 6 hours a day these children are with me.

Still off the Pill
So anyone who doesn't want to hear about trying to get pregnant stop reading now. My friend Veronica is also trying right now and we get together and bitch about how hard it is to not know if you are pregnant or not. Should I drink should I not? I was on the pill for 12 years so my poor body is still in a state of shock trying to recover. This has worked out for me so far. I just started teaching in the city so quite frankly I need to drink heavily. Football season just started so I want to drink. But that's the stop taking the pill update.

So football season is getting ready to start and me and Ally are playing in Sam's fantasy football leauge. We have to do a live draft and everything. Last year me and Ally played on a girls team so it was less complicated. But I'm ready to eat, drink and watch football. It's time for long Sundays watching TV and eating pizza. I've been to two preseason games to get me pump and ready.

In the grand tradition of being Ms. Erin or Ms. Carney I have 3 girls and 11 boys in my class. I can't get away from the boys. These boys are city boys and are rough. They are cute and are pretty good listeners but it's alot with all the boys. Today I took them outside to run in the rain because I don't get a planing period on two days and it's a long day with them all day. I have to do a lot of shopping this weekend for the class.

My new Job
So the school year started on Monday and now it's Friday and I'm so looking forward to my 3 day weekend. Yeah I know we teachers only have 8 full weeks in the school year but let me tell you we work. I have to go to lunch with my kids so I don't get a lunch break. I mean I could send them to the lunch room by themselves but that's just mean. They need help going through the line and getting thier milks opened and cutting thier meat. Boy in my Basement
The boy in my basement is finally gone. Jason's friend Shawn moved in the same weekend the dog came to live with us. I didn't talk about it before because it was too painful. He lived in our basement didn't pay rent or help around the house nor did he even bother to take the dog our eventhough he didn't have a job or do anything all day. It really bothered me so anytime any or my friends want to come and stay with us rentfree and dutyfree I dont' want to here anything about it.

My New Job
I got a new job and I'm very excited. I'm going to teach Pre-K in the city and make a lot more money and have summers off. So my last day of work is Friday and I"m having a happy hour to celebrate with my current work friends and others. It's still too good to be true, I'm waiting for something to happen to undo it or make it not so.

Snart
I have a dog now. It's not my dog pre say but he has been here since March and is staying at least for another year. It's my sister's dog. My sister finally left her husband and moved out of her house with her two children. She could not take the dog with her. Her husband did not want the dog so that says something about him. The dog is wonderful no trouble no hassle. His only problem is he sheds like a mad thing. I have never seen anything like it. It's crazy. I like having a dog it's nice.

The End of the Year
It's the end of the year at work, school, whatever. I can't wait to get new children. Not that I don't love my class or the children but I have been with these children since August and I don't want to the summer with them. We are getting about a half new children and half are staying with us. Some of the children don't come in the summer which is nice for them. But I am not motivated at work anymore. I am tired of telling the same 6 children the same thing everyday. If they don't listen to us by now that I doubt much will change in the next 3 weeks. I have seen my future and it's not that great either these new children are not much for listening but at least it will be a change.
It's the end of the year at work, school, whatever. I can't wait to get new children. Not that I don't love my class or the children but I have been with these children since August and I don't want to the summer with them. Lost
I'm obsessed with Lost. I'm not to the point where I'm going onto chat rooms and talking about my theory but I'm close. Thank God Ally and my parents all like Lost or I would be in a Lost chat room. It's so good. I can't watch Survivor, which used to be my guilty pleasure because Lost is sooo good. I don't have cable so Lost is the only new show I watch. I may watch a rerun of That 70's Show or Simpsons but that's about it. The season final is next week and I have goosebumps thinking about how good it's going to be.

No Pills
Okay I've stopped taking my birth control pills. So I'm out there wild and free just waiting to get pregnant. Now the only problem with this is I'm a drinker. I don't have many other hobbies. When I go out with my friends the only thing we do is drink. We go the movies at the AFI Sliver so going to the movies doesn't interfere with drinking time. I don't know what to do if I can't drink. I'm home alone and drinking. Not heavy drinking just passing the time drinking.
Now my Mother did not stop drinking when she was preganat with me or my sister. I can't say we are the smartest children but..........not that I'm going to drink.......that much.

So How's Married Life
Okay so I have been married since April. We had lived together for 3 years before so why are people asking me "how's married life" as if something has changed. I feel like saying "Married life is sooo different is like I'm a completely different person. I am whole where I was halved." I really say "the same as shacking up" because it is. Marriage is only different if you do something crazy like change your name or combine your money. I did not do either of these things because I don't want someone to get mad that a bought something nor do I feel the need to volunteer my purchases. And I really don't want the hassle of changing my name. In fact since we are not filing our taxes together I checked the single boxes on my tax forms for my new job. I felt a little like I was cheating on a test when I did it. So I hope I never hear myself saying "how's married life"

My sister is coming up and leaving her children and husband at home. Me and my sister are both married but she has children which are a big time and energy taker. I should know I work with them everyday. Anyway my sister is like my husband likes to be alone and spend time in the house. I don't know when this exactly happened to my sister. It was before she got married but she was never single. She has been dating her now husband since college. So anyway she is coming up and I am forcing her to go out and have a good time outside of my house. We are going to the Melting Pot for dinner, Evita and then drinking out in Baltimore. So what I do every month or so minus the show or the dinner for that matter but whatever. I think I am going to take her to the 13th floor last time I went there I had such a good time. I went with Ally and it was so fun. So I am excited and I not going to take no for an answer about going out. My Mother made me promise not to get her too drunk so.............
